Chair of the Graduate Committee for the ARE Department

Serve as the Chair of the Graduate Committee for most of the years except my sabbatical years in 1977-1978 at The University of Georgia and in 1989 at The National Taiwan University in Taiwan.  The major workloads were Graduate Admissions, and Master and PhD final examinations.

Chair of A Committee for the Graduate School of The University of Connecticut

Served as the Chair of the Committee for approving PhD dissertation proposal for 19 Social Science Departments for the academic year in 1990-1991.
